Terms and Conditions of advertising with the Group
OxNoG is not a Locum Agency!
The database is an amateur project, developed as a communication tool for the benefit of its members and associated contacts - it is not a profit making organisation. If you are contacted via OxNoG to arrange a session, do not assume that the session is booked until you have confirmed it with the doctor in question.
Is there a charge for advertising?
At present, no. This may be reviewed in the future, but would be to cover costs incurred only.
Responsibility
OxNoG requires of its members only to hold current GMC registration, and this will be checked once only, at the point of being granted full membership. It cannot accept responsibility for the consequences of adverts made through the database, or any booking made using it as a communication tool. A little more detail can be found in a letter from the MPS.
Do I still need to check references?
Yes. The PCT does set out the minimum set of information a Practice must hold for any locum staff it employs including:
What happens when I no longer wish to advertise the post?
Just update the job and untick the box - it will be 'filed' in the old jobs section and can be reactivated later if you wish.
And if I want to permanently erase a job from the database?
